Great little find right on Lake Champlain.., well across the road from the lake. Overall great food with allot of options. The only complaint we heard and pointed out immediately was very slow service. But once we talked to our server it was immediately fixed and we had an awesome experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Ambiance is nice. Service was nearly non-existent. After being seated I quickly realized why so many patrons were going to the bar to get their own drinks. 10+ minutes for a waitress to stop by. 15 more for 2 beers to arrive. App was really greasy. Just don't look at the food and keep your eyes on the bay?

Even though I do love what Saint Albans has done for its downtown, it's worth taking a drive down Lake Street all the way to the bay too! Right there at the crossroads of the bay you'll find Bayside Pavilion. It doesn't look like much from the outside, it has limited parking, but wow the food, the entertainment and the service is SPOT ON. They've recently revamped the menu so you will find all kinds of great seafood, meats and pasta dishes to choose from. We like Wednesday night because they have a band that plays and a dancefloor. The bar is spacious with booth seating and the dining area offers a nice view of the bay. If the weather is right the patio is the best spot to enjoy the views. Every dish: appetizer and entree has been great here so far. My favorite is the battered asparagus. The burgers are perfectly done and I love the salmon burger. Waitstaff are real pros and are very attentive. I've not yet had anything near bad service here. Prices are not bad and well worth it for what you get but it's not a cheap dining experience. I highly recommend it for dates or large get togethers.

Not much to look at on the outside but better on the inside. We came with an older couple that knew the place 25 years ago and they said much hasn't changed. Things were updated but it still had the old bones. We sat near the bar, the booth seating was a little snug and table a little creaky but passable with a nice view of the lake. We ordered four different sandwiches and all was good, class pub fare. The service was good, started with bartender then went to a waiter, both friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. All in all a nice meal for a decent price.

Best scallops anywhere. We are in walking distance to this restaurant. Best sunset views. The ambiance needs work as does the entertainment but great service and you can't beat the scallops.

I went there last week and had a fantastic burger! The staff was great! Prices were reasonable! Some tasty brews on tap! Great ambience and scenic view. I highly recommend a visit!

We stopped in for lunch one day after a very cold day outside at the bay. We sat right next to the woodburning stove which was so nice. We had an awesome view of the bay. Just beautiful. We got the Vermont Maple sausage stuffed mushrooms. They were excellent. For entrees we got the broiled seafood combination and chicken fingers. Everything was very good. The vegetables were perfect. Scallops, shrimp, everything was great and tasted very fresh. I think if I lived around there, I would be a regular. Everyone seemed to know each other and it just seemed like a really great atmosphere. When I went to the ladies room, I was surprised how big the place was. There was a whole big dining room, with a place for a band and a couple of pool tables. It also looked like there was an outdoor deck, although at the time it had about a foot of snow on it. I will definitely be back next time I am in St. Albans!

Very expensive for what you get. I love the ambience and the service is good depending on where you sit. You get the best service at the bar. The food is mediocre for the most part, although the wings and crab cakes are delicious; again, a bit pricey though. It's great that it is located right on the bay; but the sun coming in through the windows can be bothersome, depending on what time of day you're there. All and all I will go back (and have gone back several times). I'm rating it three stars but if there was something in between 3 and 4 that's what I would give it.

Food was good, but not worth the price. Service was also VERY slow. Took almost 45 minutes to get just corn dogs, stuffed mushrooms, and a burger.

Great view of the bay, and wonderful seafood. I'll definitely be back!

Perhaps I shouldn't mention this but I have to because it is the thing that made Bayside so freaking awesome I just wanted to scream. They let us bring our dog on the deck so he wouldn't die from heat stroke in the car. And then...THEN...they brought us a bowl of water for him. The food was just fine and our server was attentive and friendly but the dog thing made me love them forever.

Food is alright but seems a little expensive for the quality and portions. Service can be spotty and sometimes may receive the rude end of the wait staff. This is a good place for music and dancing and it has some nice views of the bay including sunsets.

I really, really wanted to like this place as my family has had a camp on the lake since 1870 and I always support the local business if I can. But here? The food got in the way. One of the two stars I give is for the view of the bay ... which is awesome. Another star was for our waiter ... who was also awesome. The food ... was terrible. No, really terrible. It tasted like sadness. We started with nachos which was just a bag of generic corn chips on a plate with some processed cheese food melted (barely) on them and then a little bland salsa spooned on. YoungerSon and I both got the cheesesteak based on the recommendation of another viewer. We were asked if we wanted peppers and onions (which we did) but it was quite the hunt to find them. And the "steak" wasn't up to SteakUm's quality. You may think I'm harsh but they charge $10.50 for this really sub-par sandwich. For almost $11, I expect a lot more. OlderSon had the ham and asparagus melt which, while light years better than the cheesesteak, was also not worth $11. So ... I'd actually encourage anyone to come in for a beer and the view. Again, the waiter we had was great. Very attentive and super-friendly. Plus, based on the tons of sound equipment located throughout the restaurant, I imagine their nighttime music experience is pretty good too. So, avoid the food and you're experience should be great.

Best kept secret in all of St. Albans! Stopped in here just yesterday for lunch. Had their restaurant special - Philly Cheesesteak sndwch and it was awesome, and what a great location...right across the street is St. Albans Bay - Lake Champlain, and with the water level so high, you can practically put your toes in the water from the restaurant...that's how close you are to the lake. Service and people were extremely nice. Disregard google maps notice saying they're "permanently closed". This is not the case. They are definitely open for business and I intend on returning again, soon! Especially on a warm summer day, sitting on the deck overlooking the bay.

Good food & drink. Good service and friendly atmosphere. I recommend the Cajun Burrito and Thursday night trivia contest.

Where everybody knows your nnaaammmmeee! Coming here is just classic. I love the BBQ the best. The jalapeno poppers need some love. Definitely different. They usually have something really good on special too.
